APPLICATION DETAILS
The willing and eligible candidates should get their names sponsored by the Employment Exchange concerned on or before 22nd March 2024. Thereafter, the sponsored candidates should submit the duly filled-in application form online and upload the required self-attested copies of Certificates and marks sheets on or before 31st March 2024.
Age Limit: The candidate shall be not less than 18 years (21 years in case of Driver) and not more than 38 years as on 1s of February, 2024, relaxable up to 3 years for OBC category. and 5 years for SC/ST category for all posts, 10 years for PWD and other eligible category, if any, as per the existing rules.
Essential Qualification:
- Inspector of Excise: Degree of a recognized University. Standard and healthy physical condition with at least 162 cm height and 79 cm on expansion (for hill people 160 cm minimum height). Knowledge of Manipuri. Desirable: knowledge of Hindi and “B” Certificate of NCC.
- Sub-Inspector of Excise: Graduate of a recognized University. Strong and healthy in physique with at least 5’4” height and 31” chest measurement / 33″ on expansion (5’3” minimum height for Hill People). Desirable: knowledge of Manipuri and Hindi with ”B” Certificate of NCC.
- Constable: Class XII/HSSLC passed. Strong and healthy in physique with at least (162.1/2 cm) 5’4” height 31″ (79) chest measurement (33″ on expansion). 5’3” minimum height for Hill People. Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.
- LDC: Graduate who has completed a course on CCC (IDOS +Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central or State recognized Institute.
- Driver: Matriculate/Equivalent from a recognized Board/University. Driving License (Light Motor Vehicle) from a State Licensing authority with 3 years’ experience in driving.
Eligibility Conditions:
- The candidate shall be a citizen of India.
- The candidate shall be able to speak Manipuri or any of the notified Schedule Tribe
dialects of Manipur. - The candidate shall be a permanent resident of Manipur.
