It is hereby notified that a Walk-in-Interview shall be held on 23rd March 2023 at 10:30 a.m. for engagement on contract basis for 3 (three) months for the following post.
VACANCY DETAILS
Name of Post: Guruhan Rasdhari (2 post), Guruhan Tribal-Mao(1 post), Guruhan(Lai-haraoba) (1 post)
Age Limit: 50 years and above. (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates
Eligibility Criteria:
A.ESSENTIAL
1. At least 2nd class Post Graduate Diploma Course from JNMDA, Imphal or a qualification considered equivalent to this Diploma; such equivalence to be approved by the Advisory Committee on the recommendations of an Equivalence Committee, which can waive the requirement of the Diploma for those who have been performing or teaching strictly in conformity with the traditions for at least 12 years.
2. At least 12 years experience either as a teacher or as a performing artist in an institution recognized/affiliated by to the Board of Education /University or in a registered cultural organisation which has been in receipt of a Grant from the SNA /Dept. of Culture of the Central/State Govt.
OR
An Awardee of the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
B. DESIRABLE
1. Should have passed HSLC Examination (Class X)
2. Knowledge of Sanskrit for Ras and Sankirtana Guru. NOTE: Any of the qualifications may be relaxed by the Appointing Authority for a candidate who is the recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in Manipuri Dance &Music.

Age Limit: 35 years and above. (relaxable by 5 years for. SC/ST candidates).
Eligibility Criteria:
A.ESSENTIAL
1. At least 2nd class Post Graduate Diploma Course of the JNMDA or a qualifications considered equivalent to this Diploma; such equivalence to be approved by the Advisory Committee on the recommendations of an equivalence Committee set up by Advisory Committee, which can waive the requirement of the Diploma for those who have been performing or teaching strictly in conformity with the traditions for at least 7 years.
2. At least 7 years experience either as a teacher or as a performing artist in an institution recognized/ affiliated by to the Board of Education /University or in a registered cultural organisation which has been in receipt of a grant from SNA/Deptt. of Culture of the Central/ StateGovt.
OR
An Awardee of the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
B. DESIRABLE:
(i) should have passed HSLC Examination.
(ii) Knowledge of Sanskrit for Ras & Sanskirtana Guru.
NOTE: Any or all the above qualifications relaxable by the Appointing Authority for a Candidate possessing exceptional qualification.
Name of Post: Visiting Guru (Cholam) (1 post), Visiting Guru (Pena) (1 post), Visiting Guru (Sutradhari) (1 post) & Expert (Raas) (1 post)
Age Limit: Between 60 and 70 years
Eligibility Criteria:
A. Essential
1. At least 2nd class Post Diploma from JNMDA or qualification considered equivalent to the Post Diploma: such equivalent to be approved by the Advisory Committee on the recommendation of an Equivalent Committee which can waive the requirement of Post Diploma for those who have been performing or teaching strictly in conformity with the traditions for at least 20 years.
2. At least 20 years experience either as a Guru or performing artiste in an institution recognized affiliated by/to the Board of Education/University or in a registered cultural organization which has been in receipt of a grant from the Sangeet Natak Akademi/Department of Culture of the Central/State Government.
Note: The above qualification may be relaxed by the Appointing Authority for a candidate who is the recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in the field of Manipuri Dance and Music.
