The Institute of Bioresources & Sustainable Development (IBSD) is seeking applications from eligible and deserving candidates for the following positions under the project titled “Sustainable Utilization of Bio-resources Towards Bio-entrepreneurship and Socioeconomic Development of Manipur,” funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Vacancy Details
Name of the post: Project Associate
No. Of posts: 1
Age Limit: 35 years
Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Agronomy/Agriculture/Natural Product Chemistry/Biotechnology.
Desirable: At least one year of experience in the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants and oil extraction processes.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA (for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent). Rs. 25,000 + 8% HRA for others.
Name of the post: Field Assistant
No. Of posts: 5
Qualification: Class 10 Passed
Age Limit: 30 years
Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. in Agriculture/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology.
Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 8% HRA
General Information:
- These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Selected candidates will not be eligible for regular appointments at IBSD or DBT.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.
