In pursuance of Government conveyed letter No. SECM-103/1/2022-S and T-S&T dated
13/12/2023, applications in the prescribed format are invited from the intending and eligible candidates for engagement against multiple posts on contract basis for a period of 1 (one) year likely to be extended in the Directorate of Science & Technology, Manipur and Manipur Science Centre, Takyelpat, Imphal through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchanges in the state.

Essential qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering from a Govt, recognized Institution.
OR
Matriculation/HSCL or equivalent with 2(two) years Course of Training in Electrical/Electronics from a Govt, recognized Industrial Training Institute(ITI) or equivalent with at least 1(one) year experience for
operation and maintenance in Electrical/Scientific Exhibits/ Models in an Institution ./Science Centre etc.
Desirable
i) Minimum 2(two) Months Training Course on operation and maintenance of Science Centre/Museums from a Govt, recognized Institution.
ii) Knowledge of English, Hindi and Manipuri.
APPLICATION DETAILS
i) The candidate must be a citizen of India.
ii) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur.
iii) The candidate shall not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years as on 16/12/2023. But, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.
Sponsoring by the Employment Exchange:
The willing and eligible candidates for the abovementioned posts should get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange Offices on or before 10/01/2024 to the Office of the undersigned.
