Forest Department, Manipur is inviting applications in the prescribed format from intending and eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Forest Guard on temporary basis through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchanges.

Name of Post: Forest Guard
No of Posts: 70 (Direct Recruitment: 60 and Sports Quota: 10)
Salary: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20,200/-
Number of vacancy may increase or decrease at the time of recruitment.
APPLICATION DETAILS
Candidates who have applied in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination held on 16.02.2020, are allowed to apply again.
Application forms will be made available online at https://forest.manipurforest.gov.in. There will be separate Application Forms and a different Age Limit for Fresh candidates and Candidates who have applied in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination held on 16.02.2020.
Eligibility Conditions: The Candidate must be a Citizen of India & a resident of Manipur.
Essential Qualification: Matriculate/10th Passed. Desirable: Knowledge of English, Hindi and Manipuri.
Age Limit: 18 years to 38 years as on 31st March, 2024. Relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Form Submission:
- Application Forms must be submitted personally at the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF, Sanjenthong, Imphal or the Territorial Divisional Forest Officer’s offices at Jiribam/Tamenglong/Noney/Kangpokpi/Senapati /Kamjong/Ukhrul/Chandel/ Tengnoupal/Churachandpur/Central/Bishnupur & Thoubal latest by 4:30 pm of 20th April, 2024
- Through registered/speed post addressed to the ‘Deputy Conservator of Forests/Admn. & Plg, Office of PCCF & HoFF, Sanjenthong, Imphal’.
The Envelope should clearly mention “Application Form for the post of Forest Guard 2024 (Regular Basis)”.
